Carol Jarvis is back with a tune that showcases both her voice and her trombone playing, she came on my radar with a track called “In My Veins” which was my track of the year at the time it came out. This is a house track, it starts off all atmospheric, before it drops into a four on the floor beat, her vocals are processed and warped, it feels like you’re travelling at hyper speed with this, and then you hit the snare hit introducing us to the beat drop.
Oh it feels good!
Carol brings her horn to the forefront layering it for the harmonies, as well as some strings, this is combining all of her skills here – imagine having a string quartet, a live band, a DJ remixing this live as well as live band to really give it that spice… flashing lights and a disco ball… it sounds as always like Carol was having the time of her life recording this, and rightly so! Carol Jarvis is a musician, podcaster, voiceover and first female president of the international trombone association. You should check out her credits… it will blow your mind!
