The Music Of Sound have had a busy old year! A member not joining the band but rejoining the band making them a quartet, music videos and of course new releases. I have a personal investment in this band as I’ve helped them shoot their videos in and around London and it’s helped me to …

AMITY – City Of Stars Amity · City of Stars We kick off the faves with an artist I’ve known for a while, this is their first time on the faves and I’m really excited for them. I actually met AMITY last year at Boogaloo Radio when I was going there for an interview, and …
Straight out of the box this track is full of fuzz, set to the rhythm of a shuffle. This track is full of surprises though, so hold tight! Packed with low slung distorted guitar and bass this track growls to begin with, kick drum, snare, toms provide the shuffle beat underneath, the vocals add menace …

The drums are quite complex once they get going – hi hats switching between 8th note rhythms to 32nd rhythms, the rim shot playing …
Is this a song told from the perspective of a turtle? Possibly, given the first line of the song! “I can feel my head sliding back inside my shell…” and the picture of one of the front cover. Or, it could be a contemplative song of what the writer could be doing instead of their …
This track starts off with a beautiful piano part, heavy on the left hand to compensate for the bass part, then Cara’s voice comes in – she brings a real soulful touch to this and it becomes more evident with the drums that come in. The drums are well crafted, giving a little stutter when …
