First up – this track is way too catchy – if you’re not disciplined enough to hold it down and keep it calm in public then I suggest you don’t play this. I’m serious. From the beginning you have a melody that hooks you, that’s sung by Colenso Abafana Benkokhelo and it’s pure fire, add to that NKOK and Mr DM’s natural knack for musicality in the beat provided, and a really understated sax by @kaidi_akinnibi and you have a summer hit for 2026. Those vocals are layered to perfection, and the main melody line made me want to sing along, it’s like an African chant, throughout all performed by one person – Blue Lab Beats then chop it up to add to the percussion.
The progression of I VI IV V I really help it along too, as well as the breakdown with the sub bass which you really feel in your chest.
This is easily one of my favourite tracks of 2026.
