I was at the point today where I thought no one was going to release any music on the 1st September – a rarity as there’s always something new to come out even on Christmas Day – I kid you not! Anyway, this is a new track from Teen Creeps, packed full of offbeats, sweet guitar riffs and 90s influences.
The lyrics speak of how no matter what, the hero of the song is not going anywhere, there are disguised references to previous history, and no matter what he’s not going anywhere.
What I like about this song is the raw vocals on this, it starts off clean at the beginning under the off beat of the rhythm section, exposing the emotion in the vocals. At 1:06 that’s where things change, this is pure rock star energy and just to top it off there’s a guitar solo at 1:38, making the circle complete..
This is a perfect rock song!
