This track runs through different elements from beginning to end it was a challenge to figure out where to begin with this review! In any case it caught my ear and it’s pretty damn good really.
In the intro, we have we have a synth bringing things up, making it all dreamy, then it’s joined by the vocals and acoustic guitar. It starts off slow then at 0:33 it picks up tempo – the thing that I noticed is the crowd background vocals, I love that! The sudden stop after the first chorus made me think the song is over, because the pause was long but then that synth comes back in again to bring us to the second half… and the transition is just so good! You’ve got singalong bits but what caught my attention is at 1:49 I can bet they got their mates round to bang what they can find on 2 and 4, but the bit that got me raising my hands and praising the Lord is at 2:12 it sounds like they’re having the time of their lives – I need this song to be longer!!
