Here’s one to clear the sinuses! Off to Liverpool we go with this one and it’s a punk rock track from Rivia, it hits the ground running with with an energetic bass and drum package going, the vocals come in good and strong, almost angry –

This song could be about the end of a relationship, or a friendship – or – and this just occurred to me – it could be giving yourself a tough love pep talk! Either way, the things that attracted me to this song was the energy with which it’s performed, the guitar solo at 2:10, real guitar hero stuff, the harmonics are nice! Add to that stops to give the track dynamics and you have a perfect rock song…
Rivia are from Liverpool the city where people make annoyingly good songs – must be something in the water. They played the This Feeling stage at Isle Of Wight festival, and are currently riding on a high from that – and rightly so!
