I have been a fan of Nick Mulvey’s since hearing his song “Nitrous”, coupled with “Cucurucu” and “We Remain” this is an artist I have a lot of respect for.
This is a track from his new album “Dark Harvest”, and it follows his path of acoustic folk. Starting off you hear some great guitar work, over some percussion. There are some great harmonies that come in at 0:28 which are just oohs.
I like the fact there’s a flute solo in there too, which starts at 0:51…
But wait.

There’s a horn section – I wasn’t expecting that!
Oh this song is taking on so many dimensions, it’s blowing my mind right now…
All in all, this is actually making me even more excited for the rest of the album.
