Single Review: “Kitty Paw” – Shook

This track is full of 80s goodness! What do I mean? Well, this track has what I reckon is a LinnDrum machine – very much that synth pop vibe, combined with synth chords with a touch of vibrato, and that bass line is part of the Yamaha DX7 playbook – Lately Bass at least? This track has funk, it’s even got cat noises sampled in there too! There’s a bit of jazz element in there within the chorus, I reckon the video for this would be shot on glitchy worn VHS tape with the time stamp on it – it would work so well. It also reminds me a bit of Stranger Things. What do you think?
