Saturday is not usually a day that people release new music on however I was looking for a track to review and doing some digital crate digging on Instagram has usually turned up some gems for me – this one is no different. joey Sherrett dropped a track that’s very powerful in vocal as well as instrumentation.
First of all we are put at the end of a love story, he’s questioning whether there’s a way back – is it too late take back things that have been said, he’s asking if there’s a way to salvage the relationship and if not then he wishes her well. All of this over a guitar let track on top of a heavy 808 kick, finger snaps and harsh hi hats. I like the falsetto that’s processed towards the end of the song, nice adlibs!
