It drops right in the middle of waking up on New Year&#8217;s Day, next to someone that you&#8217;ve known for a long time, but it&#8217;s like you know the relationship is over because of the body language. At the same time the songwriter is saying that they are memorising everything so that they can keep this moment frozen in time &#8211; the physical attributes of the person, down to the mole on their neck the gap in their teeth. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The other person in the bed is holding them at bay, there&#8217;s a dividing line, and there seems to be no way past it, the way this song is describing body language in a powerful way, there&#8217;s no spoken words between the two people but they both know it can&#8217;t carry on this way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This song is constructed around a guitar that&#8217;s got a really nice effect on it &#8211; it made me think it&#8217;s a synth, but it&#8217;s not. Add to that keyboard, drums and bass, and you have a song that will calm you down on a rainy afternoon when there&#8217;s nothing on tv.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hannah Cameron is a singer songwriter from Melbourne, a baritone and a multi instrumentalist. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This track is gorgeous!
