Well, listen to the melody. It\u2019s heartbreaking matching the lyrics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Anything for you though you\u2019re not here,<br>Since you said we\u2019re through,<br>It seems like years,<br>Time keeps dragging on and on,<br>And forever\u2019s been and gone,<br>Still I can\u2019t figure what went wrong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You\u2019re drawn in, and even if you don\u2019t feel the sentiment you\u2019re in that world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gloria&#8217;s voice has been something that&#8217;s stuck with me for a long time, even when she&#8217;s singing full on fast paced songs or ballads like this she will crush it and give it her all. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On a personal note, she helped me to reconnect with a song that I hadn&#8217;t heard since I was 6 years old. Back then obviously there was no such thing as Shazam, or Spotify but I just remember hearing this one piece of music -Cuandoo Sali De Cuba and falling in love with it. She had a musical out a few years ago, and on the soundtrack this song was on there in fact it&#8217;s the second track on the album. I had that feeling of being connected to a long lost friend through this song, and I had to go looking for the original version now I knew what it was called.The version I knew was by The Sandpipers and I tweeted her about it, feeling very emotional &#8211; she was very kind about it, and even told me that it was that version that she&#8217;d heard first. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In essence, it felt like things had come full circle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Feliz cumplea\u00f1os Gloria.
