DISTORTION! BASS IN YOUR FACE! The Delta Sound certainly know how to introduce themselves, and this is all packaged up in an indie rock track that is packed with a wall of sound. It’s got a lip curl in the vocal, and it suits the song because it’s very rock n roll, However there is a deeper message behind it, because it shows how much life can be different both sides. Saying both sides though in reflection means it’s black and white – it’s not, because this is a protest song, and rock n roll has always gone against the establishment by nature. This song is talking about the disaffected telling the establishment to take their pity home it makes no difference to them. The divide means that no one cares anymore.

This is raw.

The Delta Sound are UK based and they were formed in London in 2018. They played their debut show in Camden the London rock n roll Mecca!

Instagram | YouTube

TOM BURTON – Everybody’s At It Honey

Tom Burton · Everybodys At It Honey

Tom Burton closes the faves with a guitar led track and his vocals give us a bluesy style flavour. This is it, just vocals and guitar and it works. I love the ooh wah section of the song, it gives it that kind of cobbled together aesthetic of a song in progress which just goes to show that while this song is complete you want to hear more from Tom Burton and what he’s capable of. Having shazamed this song, it turns out that Tom released this in 2016 under the name of Gobi Train 10 years ago. I’d love to know the history of that act as it appears to be the only song they released.

Nevertheless it’s another fab way to close out the faves.

Tom is a singer songwriter from the UK who’s influenced by psychedelic rock, and it certainly comes through strong on this!

Instagram | YouTube | Bandcamp

ADAM WEDD – YOU ATE MY SANDWHICH!
