Sophie\u2019s track \u201cTomorrow\u201d still makes me emotional and is one of my favourite discoveries of the last few years.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>This track starts off with acoustic guitar, picked over a chugged rhythm, it\u2019s triplets and underneath you can hear toms and a bass.<\/p>\n<p>Sophie\u2019s voice comes in strong as ever, and she just builds and builds, she\u2019s got a soulful fire in her voice that\u2019s always been there, the middle 8 at 0:31 gets the engine going but them she hits the chorus with full power, this is all padded out with pian percussion and distorted effects.<\/p>\n<p>The second verse adds a kettle drum and reversed sound effects, it\u2019s like the whole song\u2019s flying around you.<\/p>\n<p>Alex\u2019s guitar work and musicianship is killing all the way through and I\u2019m left screaming for a guitar solo but then\u2026.<\/p>\n<p>It stops dead.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>WHHHHHHHHHHY????<\/p>\n<p>Well that\u2019s just teasing.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Dorsten are a duo that make folk pop from Arizona, judging by this track I think they&#8217;ve got more coming and I&#8217;m here for it.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I\u2019m excited about this one because I\u2019ve been keeping an eye on brother and sister duo Dorsten for a long time.
