It starts off with a cymbal swell, then Naima Girou comes in with this beautiful BEAUTIFUL vocal that for some reason really just made me smile. She\u2019s playing her double bass and it fits in so smoothly.<br \/><br \/>This switches from jazz into a bit of a prog jazz section, with an electric guitar solo at 0:54, for some reason this whole part reminded me of standing at the top of Greenwich Park near the observatory in the summer at sunset, it\u2019s like I\u2019m listening to the sun setting and watching the hustle and bustle down below. It\u2019s an almost spiritual experience.<br \/><br \/>The Na\u00efma Quartet is a jazz ensemble formed in 2016, led by the talented bassist and vocalist Na\u00efma Girou. The group features John Owens on guitar, Jules Le Risb\u00e9 on piano and Rhodes, and Thomas Dom\u00e9n\u00e9 on drums.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This song is one of those ones you\u2019re supposed to have with your morning cuppa.
