The thing that caught my ear was the way that the chords started, keeping tempo and then all the elements being added in. It\u2019s just two chords but sometimes that\u2019s all you need.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s an arpeggiated synth in there that\u2019s quite subtle but then there\u2019s a lead synth that comes in and out, but then it switches to a different tone that is almost like introducing another character to the story.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>I like the addition of the drums at 1:30, they\u2019re analogue and very gentle not overpowering at all, and it works well with this track.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Being a fan of composers like Jean Michel Jarre, and synth bands like Pet Shop Boys, Kraftwerk, and Erasure this was up my street. It\u2019s ambient, the kind of music you\u2019d expect to wind down your day to. Given Arten\u2019s background in film composition, you could imagine this being the soundtrack to something like a montage in short form, it\u2019s so pleasant to listen to!<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>As noted before, Artem Grebenschikov is a composer for short films and social media videos, who simply wants to share his music with the world.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is such a gentle track, all built around synths.
