But I decided to go with this one, because I love the way it just builds\u2026.<\/p>\n<p>The drums start this number off, the kick is low in pitch, but I get the feeling it\u2019s being doubled up with a floor tom pitched down as well but not by much, but you can tell they\u2019re in a different key to each other\u2026 I pay attention to these little details\u2026<\/p>\n<p>This is an acoustic led number, and Katie\u2019s voice fits perfectly around it, being a multi instrumentalist she\u2019s not messing around this song! She\u2019s put her heart into it.<\/p>\n<p>Lyrics wise:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe years have passed,<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>But you\u2019re the same,<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Always got my back,<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>It feels the same.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHow do I know what to say?<\/p>\n<p>I didn\u2019t know I\u2019d feel this way\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The harmonies that come in on this last line is so subtle, but it fits beautifully\u2026.<\/p>\n<p>This sets the tone for the EP, and it\u2019s definitely worth listening to.<\/p>\n<p>Katie Firth is a singer songwriter and multi instrumentalist from North London.
