Very retro in the chord progression, I get the feeling that might be a Yamaha CP-70 piano sample, or close enough! It reminds me very much of Toto\/Genesis\/Phil Collins in that sound\u2026.<\/p>\n<p>The lyrics are out of this world. No pun intended.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou make me wanna build a spaceship now,<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s pack our bags and leave the whole damn world behind<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ll find a new place in the stars for us,<\/p>\n<p>Walk on the moon and leave the whole world behind\u201d\u2026<\/p>\n<p>I wonder what Pharell would make of the production on this, what\u2019s really sold it for me is the vocals it\u2019s those harmonies and the punctuation of the \u201cHEY!\u201d as well as the ooooh\u2019s on background vocals\u2026<\/p>\n<p>You can hear so many influences on this, the Pharrell style production, 70s sounds, the neo disco vibe\u2026<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>I need to shout about the drums on this too, the detail on this is just so punch, lots of fantastic fills!<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Oh and my lord there\u2019s a tasty key change up by a semitone at 2:14 from the root note of Eb to E, and you don\u2019t expect it to come in at that point but it does and it just LANDS so well!<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Wow. What a track\u2026\u2026<\/p>\n<p>London-based electronic artist, Brave James, combines otherworldly beats and soundscapes with intricate vocal harmonies and classic songwriting to form a sound that is uniquely his own.
