He sounds fantastic here and he doesn\u2019t let up.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The first verse is blunt:<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhere does hate come from,<\/p>\n<p>And how do we make it stop?<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>We got to make some changes,<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Before somebody else gets shot,<\/p>\n<p>We need to pay attention<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>To all the helpless cries,<\/p>\n<p>We got to stop the madness<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>So another life goes by.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This is a song about the senseless killings, the message is very clear, and Kingfish uses his platform to bring this across.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Big K.R.I.T. brings his bars, and it leaves blisters from its heat it\u2019s angry but he\u2019s justifiably so, and together Kingfish and Big K.R.I.T. put out a challenge for the hate and murder to stop.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>I interviewed Kingfish in the early days of the blog and he was so gracious to me and I&#8217;m forever grateful to him, it&#8217;s a joy watching him do his thing now.<\/p>\n<p>According to his Spotify:<\/p>\n<p>Since the release of Kingfish, his Grammy-nominated 2019 Alligator Records debut, and 662, his 2021 Grammy-winning sophomore album, guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Christone \u201cKingfish\u201d Ingram has become the defining blues voice of his generation.
