Congratulations on the release of Year Of The Demon, how does it feel?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Feels great thanks, I’m excited to give these songs a fresh packaging and to get them out to people that may not have heard them on the first go around.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a ten track compilation album of five of your singles plus covers, what\u2019s your favourite track from it?<\/p>\n

Kill the Pain<\/p>\n

Were there any other songs you\u2019d have liked to cover for it?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I’d love to do a cover of “Out In The Fields” by Gary Moore<\/p>\n

You are a band from Ventura, California – how did it all begin for you?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Well, my cousin gave me a cassette of Guns N Roses’\u00a0 Appetite for Destruction when I was 8 years old and lets just say that was my gateway drug into rock and heavy metal….<\/p>\n

What were your influences starting out?<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n

GNR, Sabbath, Megadeth, Metallica, Soundgarden, Thin Lizzy, and on and on<\/p>\n

You\u2019re known as a power trio, how have things evolved since you began, in terms of your sound? <\/strong><\/p>\n

Once I joined the band I brought live vocal harmonies to the fold and more complex solos (at least I think so haha) so the band overall has grown technically and have been trying new things which have evolved the sound but still kept the raw power\u00a0<\/p>\n

You have an album coming out later this year, how\u2019s recording going for it?<\/strong><\/p>\n

It’s about 75% complete.\u00a0 I mentioned our sound evolving, this next record is really going to showcase what I’m talking about.\u00a0 More so I think than any other record in the catalog.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

What\u2019s a funny story from the sessions so far?\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

I can’t really think of one at the moment, everything has gone pretty smooth on these sessions as we put a lot of work in during preproduction\u00a0before we go in to record.\u00a0 Its all business when were in the studio\u00a0<\/p>\n

COVID has obviously impacted the creative industry – what\u2019s kept you motivated?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Well luckily as a band who is very close we spent a lot of the covid downtimes in the studio hashing out new music.\u00a0 Also having the 5 singles come out in the height of the pandemic was motivating.\u00a0 Oh, and our podcast which we have been consistently having a new episode drop since July 2020. In a way we’ve kept really busy, just not in our normal way which would have been spent on the road.\u00a0 It was a welcome change in a way, it’s just gone on a bit too long at this point…<\/p>\n

The last two years have been a time to reflect – what have you learned about yourselves?<\/strong><\/p>\n

That no matter what the world throws at us there’s nothing that can stop the Demon!<\/p>\n

Did you pick up any new skills?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Not necessarily, just honing in on my guitar playing and studio productions.<\/p>\n

Hitting the road in support of this new album and getting to see all of our beautiful fans all over the world!<\/p>\n
