I chose to feature this song on the blog not least because the PR behind it Sally Newman is someone I trust implicitly with my music tastes but because\u2026 <\/span><\/p>\n

Well, this song changes and keeps my ears tickled with some music goodness. <\/span><\/p>\n

What do I mean? <\/span><\/p>\n

Good question. <\/span><\/p>\n

Well, when it starts it lulls you, you think, great, catchy chord progression at the beginning, nice and slow start. <\/span><\/p>\n

Not enough for me to throw my cuppa up in the air yet. <\/span><\/p>\n

The vocals are great, the bass plays higher to give a counter melody to the voice, which I really enjoyed. <\/span><\/p>\n

The drums come in at around 0:30 keeping a steady beat\u2026 <\/span><\/p>\n

We are still in the verse. <\/span><\/p>\n

Then\u2026 <\/span><\/p>\n

1:22. That\u2019s the mark. That\u2019s where I nearly through my cuppa in the air to play my air guitar riff!<\/p>\n

Then it just goes back to normal speed. <\/span><\/p>\n

Nothing indeed is what it seems. <\/span><\/p>\n

This song on the whole is brilliant, I\u2019m on a train on the way to work and it\u2019s cheering me up no end, great song to listen to on a sunny day. <\/span><\/p>\n

The York based five piece band consists of <\/span>Duke Witter<\/b> on vocals, <\/span>Sonny Leach<\/b> on Guitar, <\/span>Sam Lambert<\/b> on Guitar, <\/span>Joe Adams<\/b> on Bass and <\/span>Tom Elliott<\/b> on drums.<\/span><\/p>\n

Serotones<\/b> are no strangers to the music scene having a brace of hits secured under their belt already, and having received previous airplay on the likes of<\/span> Radio X<\/b>, <\/span>RTE 2 FM<\/b> and <\/span>Soccer AM<\/b>, <\/span><\/p>\n

Previous accolades for the band include appearing in the <\/span>Scotts Menswear<\/b> Xmas Live <\/b>showcase with <\/span>This Feeling<\/b>, as well as appearing for the new music giants on their dedicated stage at both <\/span>Gathering Sounds<\/b> and the <\/span>Isle of Wight Festival<\/b> last year. They were also part of the <\/span>This Feeling Alive tour<\/b> with <\/span>The Chase<\/b>, <\/span>Coco and The Lost<\/b> and <\/span>The Lilacs<\/b> in Nov\/Dec.<\/span><\/p>\n
