Well, Ceiltidh Mac<\/strong> is a cello player, and this has a slight warmth to it\u2026<\/p>\n Hold on, let me go have a look at her YouTube channel\u2026.<\/p>\n YES! It\u2019s her playing the cello like a bass!<\/p>\n Ahhh Del\u2026 your ears work.<\/p>\n Killed it.<\/p>\n Anyway, back to the song.<\/p>\n Ceitidh\u2019s vocals are husky and I like that, there are no tricks to her voice, she\u2019s singing with honesty\u2026 I like the chord progression in this song, as it\u2019s got some interesting choices especially around where she sings \u201cWhat have we done? What have we done?\u201d That whole section there is sweet.<\/p>\n Ceitidh\u2019s voice is so calming and I needed this.<\/p>\n Thank you.<\/p>\n Ceitidh is a Welsh singer songwriter now based in Newcastle, she combines traditional folk with alt folk and with some electronica too.<\/p>\n She has also supported Rachael Dadd, and progressive jazzers Get The Blessing in the past, and from the look of her site has some live shows coming up.<\/p>\n I\u2019m really loving the idea of using the cello as a bass, that\u2019s really got me.<\/p>\n\n\n
