It\u2019s the chorus. It just hits you.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>I know it\u2019s coming.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Every. Single. Time.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>But it just hits me and the feels just don\u2019t stop.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>This song was released in 2020, but I got to hear it for the first time this year&#8230;And to be honest because of the way it makes me feel, this is why it\u2019s taken me so long to do a write up for it. Sophie Dorsten reached into her soul for this one, and it cuts deep, it\u2019s just one of those songs that\u2019s not just a ballad but a beautiful love letter to herself to say that while she\u2019s not coping she will be fine tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p>The line that gets me is \u201cI\u2019m scared but I\u2019ll be fine\u2026\u201d it shows a resilience even though she\u2019s terrified of what the future might hold.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>What I\u2019d like to say though is that the guitar work on this is just beautiful, Sophie\u2019s voice is gorgeous but the guitar playing really accompanies it beautifully\u2026 just delicately picked and the instrumentation around it seems to be built around it.<\/p>\n<p>All in all, it\u2019s beautifully recorded, mixed, produced and mastered, making it easily my favourite song of the year.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Right.
